The main requirement for this project was that all elements (including images and typography) had to be physically produced and compiled digitally. I chose to do song lyrics from “Gap Tooth Smile”, a song by the artist Djo. Using old magazines, I collages the main typography and added some of the lyrics in with stamps. The background if made up with construction paper, and the main imagery is layered with magazine cutouts and colored pencil, with reflect different lyrics from the song.
